I was privileged to attend the US debut of the new Carnival Magic as she made her Galveston debut. Somewhere between really large and Mega ship she comes in at 158 tons, capable of carrying 3245 passengers, crew and staff. Camp Carnival is 5,000 Sq. foot children’s facility divided into three age-specific areas: an arts and crafts center with toys designated for cruisers age 2 to 5; a rad video area that draws young vacationers ages 6 to 8 and videos games designed for 9-11 year olds. Don’t worry about your teen; they have their own space too!

When the sun goes down, the fun lights up on Carnival Magic! You can enjoy a movie on the 270 Sq foot LED screen at Seaside Theater poolside! Head to the Showtime Theater for the latest in world class entertainment.
